The question on if a male can be female is also determined on the basis of which organism we are talking about. There are species in the world that are hermaphrodites who have both male and female genitalia. Depending on breeding conditions they switch between the two. Since humans don't do this we arent beholden to those ideas of male and female so doing the old switcheroo is a cope from someone with gender identity disorder brought on by trauma or exogenous hormonal problems in the womb causing the brain to think it is the opposite gender when it is not.

This topic has been spoken about for the last 10 years at least. However, we have become a lot more sympathetic and adept at talking about it compared to 2016. You might remember the "SJW rekt" videos back then? That was a very immature growing period for this topic but I am happy to see that we have moved on from mocking them in an immature way and instead really talking about the issue.

I have a lot of empathy for people who have been duped in their early teenage years into thinking they are someone they are not. It's as if people have forgotten a 12-15 year old kids brain is incredibly malleable and able to quite literally create false realities for itself.
