I just walked into my backyard because my dog was barking at something. She does that even if there’s nothing really back there. I think it’s cause she smells something, but anyways. I heard my neighbors having a little get together, and heard people laughing and generally having a good time, and having to hear that, I got hit by a wave of loneliness and FOMO which is something that I don’t really get. I haven’t done anything social with friends in like over a year. I think now it’s starting to really hit me how lonely I am. Maybe ive been trying to suppress my feelings. I don’t have a social circle to speak of and at my age, it seems almost impossible to get in one. All I have pretty much are online forums and the Internet. But of course that’s a pretty poor substitute. Oh well. Hopefully Halloween things won’t be as bad but I bet they’ll be even worse. I haven’t gone out and done anything for Halloween in years. I think that I will just accept that I will never really have any friends and will just need to accept this and cope with it anyway I can that isn’t self destructive.
