Haven't had a drink in 5 days feel less depressed

But never felt more bored or lonely. I don't know how you even watch most TV shows or do most tasks without alcohol I can't watch a football game with people without killing myself unless I'm drunk.

I'm going to take a month off because I was doing it way too much taking a break made me realize just how boring my life is rn. Alcohol masks boredom and makes mind numbing tasks less terrible also it turns off the voices in my head so I'm not alone with my thoughts

Drinking is a sure way to descend. You'll readjust, your brain is probably a little fucked from over drinking. Alcohol is one of the hardest addictions to drop, people can die from trying to quit if they're extreme alcoholics. My uncle needed an ambulance at least three times when he was coming off from alcohol after drinking for weeks. One day he stumbled into a fish pond and that was the end of his story.

Yeah I'm not an alcoholic but it was getting bad. I would just use before bed (thats when I have the most negative thoughts and down time) and it was getting to the point where I could not sleep without 2-3 beers a night.

The great thing about it is that it makes normie shit fun. I can watch a dumb sitcom drunk but sober its painfully boring.

I feel less depressed overall. I still can't drink mid day so it would only be towards night I've noticed in the morning after the bulk of the day I feel better just at night I feel worse.

Yeah every fix has its costs. You drink to feel good but will feel worse the next day. Your brain will always adapt to misery or pleasure. If your life becomes worse small things make you happier if you take drugs your brain stop producing happy chemicals. And tries to adapt to the new environment all this does is make your baseline happy levels lower
