if you have two x chromosomes one of them sort of acts like a buffer that takes over if the other one is deficient, hence why autism isn't as prevalent in women, since it's still a mutation to your DNA.
that being said they will still have lesser symptoms of it, but autism doesn't really matter in women, since they're not expected to approach anyone.
