Maybe just call your parents before Christmas Eve and ask how they’re doing or go and catch up with them before Christmas Eve, they’re your parents after all they shouldn’t mind too much.

I live at home, and we have a little bit of a situation so i still see them everyday and so but i need a pause from them because of a decision they took about a month ago.
