My ego saved me from so much bullshit that otherwise would have happened in it’s absence,things I would have accepted and would’ve been complacent with.

Your ego doesn’t let you accept shit and be fine with it.Your ego makes you look for solutions,different ways to escape from apathy.It pushes back the role world gives you.

If you can’t satisfy your ego then you feel the need to do more,be better.

I used to have a big ego as a teen, but now it’s just normal tbh. But yeh if it’s big, best to downplay it. People love humbleness etc
