I'd say having an above average IQ helps to a degree.

Having an IQ in the 120s, for example, is the sweet spot. An IQ in the 120s is where a lot of doctors fall on the IQ scale. An IQ in the 120s is high enough you can be a doctor (a normie with a 100 IQ couldn't be a doctor in most cases), yet not so high to where you have social issues.

Once you get into 130+ IQs, that's when you become so smart you (in many cases at least) struggle socially.

Folks with an IQ of 130+ are hit or miss. Sometimes they go on to accomplish great things. Yet in many cases, they end up in my boat: So smart we have a hard time functioning in terms of moving up the corporate ladder (as we have social/emotional issues)

Having a high iq or being somewhat talented at something doesn't guarantee any actual fulfillment. As I said a good portion of people here are genuinely high iq, but are they doing anything meaningful with their lives? No, they're rotting on here just like the rest of us

Socially adept people are generally more intelligent because they intuitively know how to pick up on and process social cues well, read rooms, etc. That's intelligence in the way being good at math is a sign of intelligence. Different intelligence profiles, but all linked to quicker mental processing speed, better memory, better reasonung, etc. And all of it beneficial; you can get a good job in tech or sales dependending on which intelligence profile you have, but in the end everyone who is in some way intelligent can get a good job, found a company, make money some other way and derive various other benefits
