while it doesnt carry, having a hobby can really increase the way girls view you. if ur some guy who has nothing to do all day other than sleep or simply doing basic human necessities, you're essentially signaling very little about urself, which studies show girls do not feel attraction towards. hobbies give things to talk about, show off, and be passionate about.

Only hobbies I'm into are things I like doing. I do not do them with any intent to impress anyone or get social validation, and if that's the only reason a person does a hobby then it's not really a real hobby. One of my favorites is driving and I like going fast in areas it's open and reasonably safe. In the last year I've done close to 100 miles an hour many times for fun, and this gets me nothing socially, I just like doing it for my own enjoyment

I believe the opposite actually. ND dudes are far more likely to be socially isolated and have poor romantic lives, so they NEED TO have hobbies in order to stay sane and get a little fun from life. People who have hobbies they are truly into and obsessed with usually are at least somewhat ND in my experience. NT people don't tend to have much in terms of hobbies, and even if they do, it's more of many frivolous hobbies that they don't get too deep into, not one or just a few that they are extremely fond of

Pure cope lol. I've been deeply engrossed in the car hobby and anything related to cars/ machinery since I was a little kid and never once got a social benefit or romantic lead from it. Got a lot of fun personally from it and also fixed a lot of things myself which is nice instead of having to pay someone for every little thing, but none of that means a thing socially if it's not an inherently social hobby and common enough that lots of others are into the same hobby

that’s anecdotal. i think you're confused, the claim isn’t that hobbies automatically give you attraction. it’s that they signal traits that influence how others perceive you when mentioned or noticed by them. solitary hobbies can still increase mate value when those signals are noticed, but exposure really just amplifies it.

Lmfao I ain't crashing into anything. I only go fast in areas that are open stretches of highway and I'm the only one on the road where I can see ahead far. 95mph like I did a while ago isn't even anything crazy and I will be pushing past 100 once the weather is more suitable for it again since I found an even longer and smoother road than the one I did 95 on.

The real ones who deserve to be naturally selected are the ones who go too slow for road conditions and piss everyone off. One time I was on a stretch of 2 lane highway with no passing zones for 10+ miles and stuck behind some douche going 30-45 in a 50 zone. That speed limit of 50 is already grossly low for how nice of a road it is, and this idiot was going slower than that holding me and everyone behind me back.

Luckily for me I was coming up to a straightaway between two hills where you can use the oncoming lane to pass if no cars are coming, but you gotta do it fast so you don't run out of road. As soon as I went over the hill and seen it was clear, I got into the oncoming lane and put the pedal to the medal. Engine sounded fucking awesome screaming to near redline and the shifts under so much throttle felt great. Zoomed right by that worthless slowpoke and victory was mine. Someone a little less sane than me would have likely tried to run that individual off the road as retaliation for what they did for so long instead of just passing and being on their way like me.

Living slow is no way to live life buddy, and this goes for many things. Not just driving
