not gonna elaborate too much bc im lazy and a shit poster but its not that impresive to have a lot of tiktok followers, even 100k.

its like a mock platform, easy as utter shit to get followers because theres 9 million bots and its all around just a super easy platform to grow on, i have 100 folowers without any videos and just a pic of my face as my profile pic and i dont even interact that much with people etc

ive talked to girls with 100k and they followed me and its not like their videos even actually get a lot of views besides the ones that blow up. i dunno instagram is way more legit way to show status. a lot of these randos have 100k+ followers then go to their instagram and they have 3,000 followers. tiktok is bot central and easy to grow on. my friend was getting 1,000s of views posting the shittiest dog and cat videos etc. i said i wasnt gonna elaborate but i did so yeh

Tiktok is like early youtube/snapchat/tinder. Its more easier to a person to get views because the algorithm is not yet made aggressive towards your average person.

Its a routine with all of these social video media platforms. But with every major update you can bet to find more sponsored content, more algorithm and content structures that focus on a sort of fraternity order. Just like how youtube now only recommends "popular" channels (aka specific people within a certain level of fraternity/social order, all to a certain degree, "sellouts"), or how you have music and other explore pages on YT that mainly show you popular celebs and "top 10s" etc.

Its a trap. Just like how snapchat did and does the same with sponsored content naturally structured in its UI, promoting shit artists like islandboys etc. Just like how Instagram does it as well. Just like how tinder did it, with their algorithm that slowly went from average person being able to get viewed, to your profile not even showing up unless you pay for gold or are a female.

Its all an algorithm trick. Bait and switch. Get people riled up on there with false promise and friendly algorithms, only for then in the future change it up. A large amount of it is probably bots as well, and i bet you if you ever were to try to convert the views or followers to ROI, it would be shit. Go to any SEO forum and you can probably prove this well.
