Having a shitty Instagram will make people not respect you

It's unbelievable the difference in how I got treated by colleagues, roommates, random people ecc before and after they see my shitty Instagram.
Initially they are pretty nice and curious, they respect and value my opinion on things, they treat me as equal (I'm average looking now that I have looksmaxed), when they find out I have a shitty instagram with little to no followers and no pics they very quickly started to act like jerks when I'm around...belittling me for everything, not respecting my opinion on things, treating me like shit, making fun of me in a non friendly way, acting condescending ecc

There are some exceptions, true....but the overwhelming majority of people (especially in South Europe) are nasty. What a shitty world

I can confirm, when i got to 1k non bot followers it kinda gave me a halo and 1k isnt that much lol. Large following makes people seem more powerful, makes them look like they are good socially and have a lot of friends or whatever, thats one of the reasons politicians and celebrities buy thousands or millions of bots for their accounts.

Instagram followers are pretty much part of your LMS in 2019, but I think its more about just showing that you have a decent social life and some friends, having say 300-500 followers is fine, you don't get much of a boost after this from having like 1k, its diminishing returns. Also I think if you post loads on social media like Instagram posts every week its looks kinda try hardy, I personally post just a few times a year for big events say a pic of me and my mates at a music festival or me dressed up smart for a wedding stuff like that, less is more, better to have a few good quality posts than just loads of selifes and shit
