If u have a kid and it’s a male, please do not give him a younger sibling.
Have u ever noticed that most of the time in a group of 2 brothers, a younger one and an older one, most of the time the younger brother will look better.
Most people come to the conclusion that most of the time the younger brother simply takes better care of himself than the elder but of course it goes way deeper than that.
When you’re the younger brother you’re simply preferred, your parents take better care of u, give u way more attention etc..
To this point u may think “but this is completely normal right it’s obviously what a parent should do?” and you’re totally right this is what a parent should do but in contrast the older brother will automatically see himself as a failure.
This will only spike cortisol in an unending cycle until the elder brother leaves, but by then, what is left.. A receded hairline, fat body, shit mental health, no confidence or braveness to do anything else in life than sit on a couch and aspire to do nothing.
The same can apply even if u have a little sister, cortisol will spike in a cycle etc…
