So in theory, something that injurs the eye but doesn't cause blindness could cause it. Maybe taking a razor blade and making small incisions in the eye (not recommending anything to anyone, you will go blind).

That may be how the lasers work in eye color change surgery. Small amounts of damage.

If one were to do it in small repeated sessions, with a week or two of healing time after each session, each time exposing ones self to the laser below the time threshold that causes blindness.

I feel like I need to try this for science, like I'm stumbled upon the next face pulling (Extreme version hard mewing that per the images created a giga chad in asia from a guy that previously looked like an incel, but may have destroyed many jaws as well).
