Having morality as an atheist is just a way to stroke your ego.

If you're an atheist, having a moral code doesn't make sense since you won't get punished for evil acts. The only code you should follow is the law. Trying to be moral by setting up a moral code, and following it, is just a way to tell yourself "I'm a good person", and stroke your ego. But in reality, there are other ways to stroke your ego. It's actually cucked in a way, because by setting up moral restraints, you prevent yourself from certain activities which are pleasurable, because of subjective "morals".

I personally think a lot of atheists with morals are just too mentally cucked by empathy and guilt and unable to turn themselves into cold sociopaths. Probably from all the social conditioning they received as children. Worst of both worlds if you really think about it. You live a meaningless life with no hope for eternal life, and you're still restrained by morals. :ROFLMAO:

Very true! Honestly if I was an atheist I would have one of the most pleasurable existences. Life is about 10x more fun without any moral restrictions.

It's mandatory for the majority of the population, correct.

However if most people have it, and you don't, you benefit.

If you only follow a moral code because you don't wanna get punished that means you don't care about about the moralty. And humans care about other humans

not all humans care about all other humans. some are selective in who they care about

:ogre:Atheists can't prove god doesn't exist enough to religious people to come to an agreement
Religious fags cant prove god exists enough to atheists people to come to an agreement

I do get the impression some Atheists hold a moral superiority complex which is fine really if you are reasonable.

This is true but I dont do it for my "ego" I do it because I've been taught fundamental principles from the time I was born and a change in ideology is not enough to change the way I conduct my live :ogre:

I'd have morals if everyone else had them. But I've come to realize no one does so now I don't

This statement actually proves the atheist argument, its illogical to believe in something that not only hasn't been proven but also denies our understanding of physics. I can't prove the Easter bunny doesnt exists but that doesn't mean I should assume it does. While it's true absence of evidence isn't proof, we do have proof that raising the dead isn't possible or conceivable, especially when thousands of years of medical advances are not present. Believing that the Bible depicts true events rather than believing a group of people were manipulating the populations with tricks to adhere to socially beneficial moral values (easier to develop advancement when people aren't killing and stealing from one another) is just irrational and is the objectively wrong thing to believe. "You can't prove it doesn't exist" is not a fucking argument and if you use it ur going to hell.:ogre:

:ogre:Is it one of the if a tree falls down in the woods does it make a noise arguments.:ogre:

My point is we all need a type of proof that validates something for us. For myself i need to see god in person floating in the air or walking on water

Lots of people go from bluepilled to blackpilled and change the way they live their life.

Also, I take it you were raised religious (probably Christian)?
Yes we care about people that are sharing our culture, ideals and morality
Not even, random people on the street 'share' that and many people couldn't care less about them.

Nah broh I'm 17 and been athiest since I was 12 or so, my mom tried to indoctrinate me that dirty whore, but I broke free. I still care about people and generally don't act especially selfish not because it's an active decision but because it feels uncomfortable not to. I think complete lack of empathy is ideal and makes the most sense as nothing is as important and your own happiness.
