Hard pill to swallow but if your musuclar by working out or born with more muscles than average then your ancestors were most likely slaves or of the lower working class that had to do manual labor.

Being muscular would be seen as bad throughout history

I mean I can see like the being tan was seen as low class back then because before in Europe being pale was a sign of being wealthy but thats like over 400 years ago and muscles will always be seen as vitality and strength like in Ancient Greece

Acient greece isn’t the only ancient civilization to exist you ignorant morons there are plently of other civilizations that saw muscularity as being low class espacially around eastern asia. funny how you say it was seen “vitality and strenght” yes it was seen as that but it was also associated with gladiators who tended to be slaves.

You didn’t disprove my claim that being musuclar is a low class trait all you said was that it was seen as “desirable”

might be one of the more retarded things ive read

Your ancestors were lowly people that everyone looked down upon and you want to repeat the same shit they had to do by wasting hours of day lifting heavy things.

Your ancestors were low class so are you i’m not hating on you but when do you ever see rich people doing pointless shit like lifting weights.

I’m not gona lie to you having muscles is aesthetic and it looks more attractive but not substantially and the problem is what you have to do to gain it.

The effort to reward ratio is just so bad since being strong or musuclar is practically useless nowdays and it’s not going to boost your attractiveness by alot.

this take is kinda ropefuel tbh

@woketruecell muscles aren't inherently low class. it's about *why* and *how*. being yolked for the sake of it or because it's a primal display? yeah, that can look tribal. but aesthetic bodybuilding or functional strength? that's different. it's about maximizing potential, like any other pursuit of excellence. the rich you're talking about are probably just doing it behind closed doors with personal trainers, not publicly whining about it.

Six pack = low class trait
six pack is not associated with muscularity. six pack is an indicator of chronic caloric deficit aka starvation

Yes being skinny with a big frame is the ideal imo you are genetically gifted and healthy without putting in any effort.

Everyone knows muscles is associated with low class thats why you see gym influencers always trying to man shame guys into going into the gym ”Hurdurr your not a man if you don’t wake up 5am to go to the gym and lift heavy weighs that will ruin your body in the future” this is the same mentality slave owners would use on slaves to motivate them to work harder.

I can’t believe people genuinely pay to lift weights and damage their bodies

Functional strenght doesn’t mean lifting 80 kg overhead or deadlifting 200 kg.

it just means being able to perfom daily necessitates without problems like walking running moving around without pain or issue and tell me genuinely what would you use that ”Strenght” to if your not a low class manual labor? litteraly nothing atleast guys that do manual labor have a reason to gain muscles which further ties into my point that it’s a sign of low class.

I agree on the aesthetic part it looks better but it’s not worth it imo since reward is minimal.

A huge chunk of nobility were involved and found prestige in being in the army, knighthood in medieval times was also extremely linked to the nobles and a majority of the knights came from that class, do you think serving in the army and being trained to fight in full plate armor would some how be done by people who did not have a lot of muscle??

Also this take is just retarded in general, your conception of the higher classes being weaker than the lower classes because they dont need physical strength (extremely wrong as well, how do you think said nobillity was established in the first place? they took charge and demonstrated their strength and took over), also not to mention emulating warriors and knights was a huge part of noble culture

Also just to elaborate on this further, I want you to go to any blue collar, low class sort of job site like a construction site and see how many fat people you find, my bet is that you will find a significant amount, your thread is just completely ridiculous with zero backing for it

this might be the pussiest thing i ever read in my entire life, sure i agree face matters more and lifting takes effort, but it is not that much effort bro. sure it could be hard for you if you don’t have great genetics but there’s no point not to work out

also most people i know don’t lift for the sole purpose of female attention once you see progress it gets addicted female attention is just a bonus, and no i am not a gymcel

"How do you know I'm skinny fat, lack T and have no muscles?" :feelskek:
