Now before I go on my rant, I’m extremely grateful to be in the position I am, I’m fortunate for my parents we aren’t poor whatsoever and live a comfortable life , some people are born with literally nothing
But I fucking hate having like actually rich friends and having to watch them do rich people shit and hear about it all the time.
I’ve wageslaved every summer since I was 15 for 40 hours a week basically the whole summer. I get to save a lot of money this way but it’s basically a horrible summer, just work gym and sleep
Meanwhile I wake up and check my friends instagrams and they’re traveling on their parents dime and doing whatever the fuck they feel like, certainly not at a restaurant sucking up to other rich assholes for their change in tips.
It’s even more annoying hearing about all their rich people adventures in person, and most of them are not assholes about their money but sometimes I want to tell them to shut the fuck up about their vacation in the amalfi coast and their private yacht tours of the Caribbean.
The worst part though is doing social activities with them. Sometimes we’ll go out to eat or a bar etc, and ofc they wanna go to nicer places, so if I want to see them I’m forced to pay 21$ for a cocktail and drop 50 on food
Fuck this shit man, it should’ve been me.
