Friends as in you are friendzoned by them doesn't count btw.
If you tried to shoot your shot, failed, settled for a friendship and now hope that she'll set you up with one of her friends, this doesn't count.
From my experience this works better if you have common friends who introduce you in a group setting.
Be funny and likeable and she'll unironically help you out if she's smart, charismatic and actually likes you. Beyond that, they can be actually nice people to be around.
Some are ultra honest and give good advice, some will help set you up with other girls.
This probably works better if they're doing well themselves and are not jealous or bitter.
