Try to lay off the booze for a while

how old are you?

You've probably got chronic acid reflux. I got that shit too, fucking sucks ass. Flares up and I get heart burn daily for like a month straight and then for 2/3 moths I get it rarely like normal people. The period of flare are hell though. Thankfully enough baking soda is instant pain relief.

Alcohol abuse, cigarettes and Soda cause This mostly. I used to have heartburn everyday constantly, after quitting cigarettes it completely went away after 2-3 days of not smoking. It wasn’t even hard, one tends to be scared of withdrawal symptoms but they are not that bad and they go away after the first 3-6 days completely, then you don’t even want to smoke anymore, when I tried another one it was like the first time, it didn’t taste good and felt wrong and I started enjoying the state of mind when you don’t smoke, everything feels more enjoyable and better, because you focus more on the moment, a smoker always needs to lighten a cigarette and isnt really present
