I am currently 16 years old and just went to the endo for height advice. I am 5'5" and made a joke of constantly. About 6 months ago, I got an X-ray, and the results said my growth plates probably have 1.5 years left, and my bone age is behind my body in terms of growth. Fast forward to now: I went to the endo because I have not grown a single inch from 6 months ago. The endo said she would give me an aromatase inhibitor to prevent more estrogen from fusing my plates because I should not be my height, as my dad is 5'11" and my mom is 5'10". After getting the blood work done (nothing was wrong with it), I needed another X-ray, as it has been 6 months since the last one. The results from the X-ray said my growth plates are almost closed, and now the endo will not give me the aromatase inhibitor, as she thinks it's too late for me because my growth plates are similar to my age, 16 years and 4 months. The only thing I want to know is, is it truly over, or should I still ask the endo for the aromatase inhibitor even though my growth is mostly over? I am so tired of manlet hell, and I think any height will help.
