Height difference between Punjabi’s and other indians

How are Punjabi’s so much taller compared to other Indians. Like Hindus have an average height of 5’5 or something but Punjabi’s I see (in Canada) are usually 5’8-6’4.. I’ve seen even couple that were above 6’4(one 6’10 and other 3 others around 6’6-6’7) cause I played on the basketball team. How?
