MID EFFORT THREAD
THREAD SONG
TITLE :WHY CUTE≠DIMOCEL
LETS START
I. WHAT CUTE ACTUALLY MEAN
According to the Cambridge Dictionary, “cute” means “charming and attractive.” So that’s a pretty big sign that cute doesn’t automatically mean boneless, feminine, or “dimocel.” If someone is considered attractive, then obviously the word can be used as a genuine compliment.
II AGE MATTER
I think after around 26, the way women perceive male attractiveness can change. At that age, some women may value a more mature, masculine-looking man over a youthful “pretty boy” appearance because masculinity can be associated with protection, stability, and maturity.
III SOCIAL MEDIA
When you look at the comments under edits of attractive men, you’ll rarely see women calling genuinely good-looking guys “ugly” or “feminine.” A lot of the time, they actually call them cute, even when those guys have strong masculine features and high Dimo scores.
Just look at the comments under Zarios or Damian edits.
IV MY EXPERIENCE ASKING GIRLS
I’ve actually asked girls about this
I’ve asked girls directly: “What exactly do you mean when you call a guy cute?”
One of the answers I got was basically that they find him attractive and are sexually interested in him.
So, for guys under 24, being called cute can absolutely be a compliment. You shouldn’t automatically interpret it as them saying you look feminine.
V WHAT DIMOCEL MEANS
To me, dimocel refers more specifically to a guy who gets told that he looks girly, overly feminine, or androgynous, to the point where people might genuinely be unsure whether he’s a man or a woman.
That’s completely different from simply being called cute.
THANKs FOR READING (don’t DNR BITCH)
I hope you enjoyed reading this and understood my point. If you disagree, that’s fine—just share your POV in the replies.
