yeah in the US 6'5 is huge, one foot taller than the average woman. 6'2 is already mogger height (Jack Reacher, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar). It seems that being taller than the optimum decreases your dating pool a bit. At least in 2013 when the study was conducted, things might be different now. Still, I'd take a small hit in female appeal in exchange for being a heightmogger up to 6'5.

It's about the number, that's why you should always fraud 1 inch (or 3 cm if in Europe), unless already solidly tall. At least it has a white pill as it shows that super tall heights are not as attractive as "normal tall" ones and being a giant solidly decreases SMV. It would be even more white pilling if we assume the zoomer/millennial US average height of 5'10 instead of the overall male one of 5'9, as that would mean average height is still good. The average of the men in the study was 5'10.5 too. But not sure, maybe the women in the study had 5'9 as average in mind, meaning you need to be 1 inch above average bare minimum and even 1 inch below screws you.
