Hello,

I just wanted to post some research I found regarding the subject of height distribution with regards to LL. Some people naturally benefit more than others when it comes to LL. 3 inches for one person will not benefit as much as for the next one.

I'm going to assume a lengthening procedure of 3 inches(around 8cm) on the femurs.

Height is relative to your location and those around you.

If you are 5'0(152 cm) and lengthen 3 inches(around 8 cm) you would still be seen as very short if you live in the US. You would still be shorter than the average woman and your percentile would only shift by +1. Which is a terrible ROI (you would need additional surgery on tibia to make any difference). These numbers are from the US.

Starting height -> Ending HeightStarting percentile -> Ending PercentileChange in percentile
6'2/188 -> 6'5/195.696th -> 99th+3
6'0/183 -> 6'3/190.584th -> 98th+14
5'10/177.8cm -> 6'1/185.4cm60th -> 91th+31
5'8/172.7cm -> 5'11/180.3cm34th -> 73th+39
5'6/167.6cm -> 5'9/175.3cm14th -> 47th+33
5'4/162.5cm -> 5'7/170.1cm4th -> 24th+20
5'2/157.5cm -> 5'5/165.1cm1th -> 8th+7
5'0/152.4cm -> 5'3/162.5cm<1th to 2th+1

What we can decipher from those numbers is that the person who will benefit the most(if you live in the US) from additional 3 inches of height it the person who have a starting height around 5'6(167cm)-5'10(178cm). At 5'6 you will go from height mogging 14% of men to 47% at 5'9.

Netherlands or other countries will ofc have different numbers.

I'm not encouraging to get this surgery(seriously don't, it's stupid) but its just some interesting data I found.

Here's what the results would look like for the increase of 11cm ( 5cm tibia, 6cm femur ) which can be done safely.

you can even do even sligthly more safely when you really lock in during recovery, proven by sidequest and many other LL veterans.

That being said, height is more like a horn effect(like a debuff if ur short) rather than a halo effect if ur tall

yup but face surgeries are meant to be counted together as a bunch of surgeries together cause a single procedure most of the time not gonna adress all the issues but height is more of a linear thing that's why procedure like LL give a significant percentile bump
