I don't disagree with that the importance became higher but face attraction has always been the strongest and will always be the most primal. Height is a definite new trend rather than what used to happen.

I think face at a primal level is more important, it symbolizes good genes, health etc. It's the center for what's happening in your body, greeks for example praised facial beauty, everything was about facial beauty, height and muscles may have been an extra but face is just the center or the mirror more so of your current hormonal/genetical profile.
