Which aromatase inhibitor is better-aromasin or letrozole? My goal is to keep growth plates open as long as possible, whilst minimizing side effects. From the info gathered by asking a user here, aromasin is the safer option with less side effects. Just wanted to confirm if that's the case. Also, what even are the possible side effects(if any)?

Finally, what dose do you recommend to minimize side effects whilst maximizing how long it keeps your growth plates open?

All the studies using an AI for increasing height used letrozole. Aromasin is definitely the preferred AI in the modern times. I don't have an answer beyond that. Just something to keep in mind when weighing the pros and cons.

That's the whole mechanism of action of an AI causing height increase.

It stops growth plates in the bone from hardening and consolidating.

I'm 17, I grew 2 inches last year and half an inch this year. Besides, I'm counting on my spine growth plates being open since they typically close between 20-23.

I certainly did not realize that estrogen is needed for optimal brain functioning. Can you expand on that? I have important exams to take in 8 months, I want to make sure I don't take something that fucks it up

Start with a low dose and adjust from there, crashing your estrogen entirely will fuck you up for life. It is a necessary hormone for proper facial development
