I’m 16 years old and 178 cm tall, and I have a question. I’ve consistently grown about 4–5 cm a year—sometimes even as little as 3 cm. The thing is, teenagers usually experience a sudden growth spurt at some point, shooting up 8–12 cm or even more. Even though I’m already 8 cm taller than my parents, is it normal that I haven't had a spurt like that?

You're probably not going to get that granted your parents' height. Doesn't matter anyway just fraud 180 or 6'

Yeah, not all growth spurts are entirely spontaneous and explosive, people can grow in a more controlled pace like that at times its not out of the norm I think, could possibly maybe get a few more cm but its highly unlikely esp since you are already taller than your parents

I have an appointment with an endocrinologist on the 23rd; they’ll take an X-ray and tell me right away whether my growth plates are open or not. I’m hoping for the best.
