I went out to buy some docs (1461) added an insole and I finally hit 6feet. What I found out is that Dr martens are quite alright for adding height while being able to pair them with a formal/semiformal outfit. Will probably try wearing that out clubbing at some point and see if there's an irl difference

It was a DIY project I made for fun to see how far I could stretch it as I've read normal heightincreasing insoles compress. And it actually looks good while the shoes are on

Yes, but it's not insoles(even though I calm it that) that are under the sole in the pic it's the DIY height increasing block i made and preferred the added softness of the actual sole on top of that to make it comfortable to wear. Also looks like the shoes are supposed to look like that if I take the shoes off when entering a party or getting home

I mean summer has recently been quite warm midday tbh, but most evening still get cold, also I usually feel colder more compared to others. Been either wearing my sweater all day or a suit all day and haven't complained about heat
