What is PDE3?
“PDE3” usually refers to Phosphodiesterase 3, a family of enzymes involved in cell signaling. These enzymes break down the signaling molecules cAMP and cGMP, which help regulate things like:
- heart muscle contraction
- blood vessel relaxation
- platelet aggregation
- fat metabolism
There are two main forms:
- PDE3A — mostly linked to cardiovascular function
- PDE3B — more involved in metabolism and fat cells
PDE3 is basically just a enzyme that break down cAMP and cGMP, wich are essential second messengers that mediate hormonal and paracrine signals in the growth plate
PDE3 INHIBITORS
PDE3 inhibitors are a medication that artificially block the previously mentioned enzyme.
The main effect of this medications (outside height and looksmaxing):
1. They increase the force of contraction of the human heart, basically helping the heart pump more effectively
2.They relax smooth muscle and are used improving blood flow and lowering vascular resistance
3. They reduce platelet clumping, that can help prevent clots
INTRODUCING CILOSTAZOL, IN MY OPIONION THE BEST PDE3 INHIBITOR WE CAN USE
Cilostazol is a medication first approved in Japan in 1988, later FDA approved in 1999 to treat milder cases of intermittent claudication in outpatient people. Due to this is a lot milder and a lot less dangerous than something like Milrinone wich is a lot more aggressive and used on ER cases (emergency room not Elliot Rodger)
CILOSTAZOL PROS AND SIDE EFFECTS
(Yeah i joke a lot about dnring the sides but please take care of your health)
1. Mild increase in energy/alertness
2. Warmther feel and increased blood flow
3. Increased athletic performance during high intensity cardio (ex: running)
4. Potential final height increase (stick with me, i will talk about this later)
Side effects from common (green) to rare (red)
Headaches
Lightheaded feeling
Flushing/warmth in face or limbs
Jittery/stimulated feeling
Dizzyness
Diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea
Anxiety symptoms (non psychological)
Mild tachycardia
Mild drop in blood pressure
Abnormal heart rhythms (especially if paired with heavy exercise and/or stimulants)
Fainting episodes (from blood pressure/heart rate changes)
Heart disconfort, this one is scary AF but usually nothing crazy
No serious side effects on a normal dose, side effects are obviusly very dose dependant

We can start by adding 100mg ED of Cilostazol into our stack, see how it goes and then up it to 100mg x2 ED
