My dad is 5’7 and my mom is 5 foot but my dad is the shortest amongst the males in his family. His mom was a pretty big lady and was around 6 feet tall but his dad was 5’5 and as for my other grand parents I am not too sure

obviously depends on your country. I'm 5'10/5'11 at 16 in Denmark (top 5 tallest countries, and if you remove immigrants, it's probably even higher) and i do fine, assuming you dont live in the netherlands where 6' is considered short, you could probably get shoes with tall soles (like nike air maxs) and fraud to like 5'9-5'10, and in addition insoles (if you want to take the risk). but yeah you're not really cooked in any meaningful way, 5'8 at 16 is perfectly fine if your growth plates are still open (which im 98% sure yours are)

the avg height in cali for adults is like 5'11 dude you're fine, eat healthy, sleep 8/9 hours a day and you're good, you don't need hgh or anything you'll grow. i also was like 5'7 a year ago, you'll grow really soon.
