Anyone else get gut wrenched whenever they see someone taller than them? No matter what, even if I am more muscular or know that I could beat them in a fight, I am intimidated, and I can tell from their stare they genuinely think they are superior to me (most, not all).
I am a nonconventionally attractive HMTN with a nice physique, for context. It has started to affect me mentally a lot, knowing I can build the nicest physique, drive the nicest car, be funny, etc., and still have to look up to people. It's just humiliating.
I strive to be the best at everything I do, and when there's something like this where, no matter what I do, I can never be above average or the best, it's gut wrenching.
It just sucks, and even at 5'9.5", frauding to 5'11", I still get dwarfed day to day. My parents aren't even short either, at 5'5" and 5'11", and one of my brothers is 6'2", which I can't help but feel insanely envious over.
I think about this every day and don't know when this feeling will go away. I am truly sorry for anyone else having to go through this and need some genuine tips.
The cherry on top is that now I am talking to this girl I really like and I am scared how she will react once I take off my shoes and I am near her height because she is 5'7.
