A couple months ago I went to a celebration that is hosted by my Church every year where there's a bunch of music, traditional dance competitions, food, etc. This year I brought some of my friends with me and one of my friends in particular said that he knew a guy who is one of his best friends (the friend is also eastern European like me) was gonna be there, they knew each other through soccer and I also play soccer so it all sounded great. It turned out to be the most humbling experience ever, since then I haven't gone back there. So we met up with the guy and turns out to be the stereotypical type of guy you'd see from where we're from, being particularly tall standing at about 6'1 (185cm) at almost 15 (I was about 5'6 at 15 1/2). No big deal so we go outside and start playing some footy until heightpill claims another soul. The tall friend of my friend had his brother with him and while I was just putting my stuff on the ground so there isn't shit in my pockets while I'm running he looks me straight in my eyes and asks me "Why are you so short". I mean yeah it's a kid but he was about 7-8 years old and as far as I'm concerned I wasn't that dumb at 8 and certainly knew that such questions are not only stupid but disrespectful af. I didn't do anything and just said idk and that was the end to the intro of this dumpster fire. We started playing running 2v2 and then a group of 2 girls (eastern European, 5'9, mmtb-mhtb, 16-17 years old) walk up to this Chad of a kid and both ask to get his number in front of me which he has a gf so says no and they run off to wherever. We continue playing 5 minutes go by and then I look over towards a bench that is by the goal and those 2 girls plus 5 other girls are all staring at him while he's playing and he just brushes it off like an average everyday occurrence. Meanwhile I'm watching everything I've said go down and actively felt throughout everything like I was in a cuckhold. Genuinely brutal, and a message for those who end up subhuman from wherever you come from. Whatever you were told your whole life is a lie, that people don't notice looks or height and that you are worth the same. This is absolutely NOT the case in Europe especially and is the farthest thing from the truth. I learned the hard way from seeing it all happen irl, my own country sees me as inferior.
