Actually Bible has never said about hell, only about second death for those who reject Jezus Christ as his saviour.
Of course those WHO were bad were Burn in fire but it won't last forever. God is a love and won't allowed anyone to be on pain forever.

Hell is in fact, eternal. The fire burns there forever and so do the lost souls. The same way you have eternal life (in God's presence). There are many verses in the Bible which describe about an eternal place of torment. I can pull them out to support it.
We were created in the image of God, the most highest of all honors. God is eternal and so is your soul.

• fail to fully repent from your sins, no matter whether you call yourself a 'christian' or an 'atheist' (or whatever) AND

But he also known as the Lion of Judah... due to his just and righteous nature, which makes him intolerant towards sin. God is loving in the sense that - He is ready to forgive you of all your sins and help you repent from your sinful life DURING your lifetime... so that you will not face the wrathful side of his nature (on the day of judgement).

He is letting you live and give you a chance to prove your repentance... EVEN though you are constantly sinning against him every day.

Jesus is loving in the sense that he has paid the penalty for your sins and has made a way for you to come to him and have eternal life. And that way is also known as the narrow path. Those souls crying Jesus' name in hell have no more sacrifice left to save them... since they are forever condemned now. Nothing could save them from their everlasting misery. Only hopelessness and intensifying pain is left for them to bear for all of eternity.

The word faith biblically means to 'have faith in Jesus and for what he has done on the cross'. If you trust in him for his finished work on the cross... and believe that he'll save you, you will be set free from your sins and will be saved.

I've had OBE's and dreams about God. So these supernatural explanations probably won't appeal to your reason (plus people won't consider honest anecdotes/testimonies as true and reliable). God can do anything, he can do what you can't imagine of. He has worked miracles in my life, slowly setting me free form my sins. It is because of him I am able to repent, and not due to my own strength or efforts.

My issue is just this: out of the other 180 something religions how do we know this specific one is correct? Other religion-followers most likely ask the same thing. I...lack faith. I just happened to have been introduced to the 1 religion that will thankfully net me eternal life?

You're correct. I'm not saying the Bible isn't God's words through the apostles. I am saying that we should give preference to listening the holy spirit MORE, than the book. You see, any Muslim or atheist can read the bible, but they can twist it for their own deeds/beliefs.

The Bible on it's own is nothing powerful, but mere anecdotal evidence to give Christians an 'insight' to what holy living is and about the prophecies of Jesus' return, judgement, etc. HOWEVER, the conviction of the holy spirit is something nobody other than a true Christian could experience.

This is why I kinda discourage people form always being scripture nerds and not turning to the Holy Spirit (which is God).

Those who simply 'pray' for hours aren't doing any good to them, although it is nice. A true Christian keeps god's commandments and blesses those who persecute him... regardless of the fact of whether how many hours he sits with a book, or in prayer. lip confessions mean nothing unless they are followed with a mature repentance... demonstrated through your actions and behavior.

I believe since God is a just God, everyone was and will be given an equal chance to turn to God, with their situations not having an impact on their choice (100% equal). this is hard for us to comprehend, as we cannot understand how Jesus offers these chances equally. Actually Bible has never said about hell, only about second death for those who reject Jezus Christ as his saviour.
Of course those WHO were bad were Burn in fire but it won't last forever. God is a love and won't allowed anyone to be on pain forever.
Actually christianity isn't dumb as you think.
When some of you asked why God didn't give you great look, of course he could (he can do anything) but also he knows that you will use it in a bad way, being hedonistic and sleep with as many people as you can.
So dear atheists, you are all right, after death you will turn to dust, will be nothing IT will be like you were never a thing. Those who follow God will have eternal life.

And of course heaven is not "cope" cause you think if you follow Jezus you will have great eternal body forever. Its much more complicated To enter heaven you must destroy and hate all your sins, weaknesses etc. Only when it happens you will be able to enter the heaven cause only thing which God can't change is your mind cause you got free will.

So why does God allows people to ascend then

yeah tbh I've always thought like God makes every aspect different that it's equal.
