In ‘No Exit’ by Jean-Paul Sartre state famous phrase: “Hell is other people”, some interpret it wrong thinking it literally means there are only assholes around and all they are making your life fucking unbearable BUT indeed it means your life gonna be hell as long as you are thinking what other people (in your opinion) think of you and how they see you.

What do you think if it’s valid thought to start with (try to stop thinking what other think of you) or just an old french communist invented one more bluepill?

It doesn’t mean to act like a madmen and do not care what ppl think, it’s more about stop seeking the external validation all the time I guess. You do not need to make shit if you do not care what ppl think about you

It's impossible.
We are social animals and part of our brain evolved for this very specific purpose.
While it's true that you mustn't be 100% binded by other people's opinions, it is also true that whatever we do, we do it to impress others on some levels, convince others that we're reliable/agreeable/fuckable/etc etc.

Yeah and you are right and it’s really obvious but it’s more like concept or suggestion from Sarter. Ofc we are social animals but till you can control yourself you can stopping yourself from destructive thinking each time you are seeking for approve from the outside. Btw, you aren’t right about “whatever we do” - check any true artist (writer, philosopher, even movie or game directors) some of them doing stuff to create something just as it is, not to impress somebody or etc - it’s just your pov on the world not an objective truth
