What’s GABA?

Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is an amino acid, a type of chemical in your body called an inhibitory neurotransmitter. It blocks messages sent between the nerve cells and the brain or spinal cord, including messages that signal fear, anxiety, and stress.
