I stopped reading skeleton soldier after he intentionally lost that arena fight. It triggered the fuck out of me so I wouldn't know. But it involves time constantly resetting and the mc having to do a bunch of learning and improving to try to survive and escape

-Re:Ze is overhyped the main character just simps after that white haired girl the whole time and the mc hardly seems to get stronger (also I'm pretty sure its a harem?)

-Anyway mother of learning takes itself much more seriously. There is no romance, and the main character constantly improves and gets stronger. Although instead of being reborn after death time resets at the end of each month.
