(HELP) Doctor denied bone age scan

I wanted to check if my growth plates were open before I started taking HGH so I asked my doctor to see if I could get a bone age scan (didnt tell her about me thinking about HGH). She claims that there is no need for a bone age scan since my growth plates are 100% still open. are there any other ways to get a scan? Im 15 btw

Just say u want it i don’t think they can deny you getting one. If she still denies you after asking again just switch doctors

It’s pretty important since it also tells you what age itll most likely close

My doctor did the same bs he said u can only get a xray if there’s some actual reason like a broken wrist or smth and started yapping abt some X-rays cause cancer
