Hello everyone,
I went two month ago to see a maxillofacial surgeon because I know that both my jaws are recessed (mandible and maxilla), and he confirmed it very quickly just by looking at me.
I would like to have double jaw surgery, but I don't have any major health problems. I told him I had sleep apnea, but I know it's unlikely that I actually have it (despite some symptoms).
The problem is that I now have to undergo an overnight sleep study to determine whether or not I have sleep apnea. The good news is that if I do have it, the surgery will be fully covered by insurance, but the bad news is that I don't think I have sleep apnea. Please help me fake having sleep apnea! What should I do during the sleep study? If anyone has been through this situation, I need your help! PLEASE, I really need this surgery!
