Over the past 3 weeks or so, I have noticed my cognition start to decline.
I feel slower mentally.
I inherently feel slower.
Like, I’m slower to grasp concepts, and dilemmas.
I’m slower to decipher literary meaning and verbiage.
I have even found myself struggling to do simple mental math that should take me 1-2 seconds to do.
I feel like my overall mental capacity has decreased.
It’s hard to explain but I can almost feel a “physical” dropping of my “IQ points”

Like if before my IQ was 100/100, now I feel like I’m operating at 75/100, or 75% of my IQ
(I know this isn’t how IQ is measured)

I haven’t been getting very good sleep, and I have been doomscrolling on tiktok for like 14 hours a day for the past couple of weeks since I’m on winter break.
I almost want to just right off my apparent decline in intelligence as a result of brain atrophy/sleep deprivation, but I wanted some second opinions.

Overstimulation and lack of sleep that's the reason why I have been using myself as an experiment and I can say I experienced shi like this

Dealt with low dopamine for like a week after that but not brain fog like I’m experiencing now.

It takes like 3 months for your serrotonin to recover but its been a while

Yeah. I’m leaning towards that.
I just don’t like feeling dumb.
Being low IQ is hell that’s the main reason I don’t drink.
I’ll probably just delete tiktok in a few days but that’s where I talk to most of my friends.
I’ll do it after the new year I think.

When smoke weed too much I can feel myself getting dumber, I have less intelligent thoughts.

It will go away when you stop.

It sounds just like sleep. People often overlook how lack of sleep or low sleep quality can affect their cognition (and a ton of other things). You can easily notice how it affects you if you try doing more complex tasks which require your attention and brain power. If you're just watching TikTok you won't feel it as much in the beginning so you'll be able to run idle even though you require sleep urgently. When you notice any issues it just means you've overdone it to a great extent. Get some rest bud.

If this keeps going for too long make sure you check your home for carbon monoxide leaks
