So I need help because my doctor told me today that I have a tooth infection and that I'll have to have the tooth extracted or they'll find another solution.
I have absolutely no idea what would be best, but having a tooth extracted at 16 doesn't seem like the best option tho

if you are getting an implant for your extracted tooth then you will be fine.

however, if they want to pull the nearby teeth to fill in the gap made by your extracted tooth, then refuse.

that process would then make you more recessed.

IF extractions are done properly , there is nothing to worry about . Listen to your doctor or maybe get someone else's opinion that is qualified
