Basically, after a major improvement in my acne, I realized that my contrast is pretty high because my skin is very pale, my lips are incredibly red or pink, my eyebrows—even though they aren't super dense—look very black, and my hair is a very dark brown. However, my eyes are also a very dark brown, and my eyelashes are currently quite long and dark.
Even though all of this contrasts with my skin and everything else, I found myself thinking about whether it would be better if I got some sun—mostly because almost my entire family has lighter eyes than mine, ranging from blue and hazel to lighter brown, and my younger sister has a better coloring than mine, all thanks to the sun. She got a tan and has eyelashes just as long as mine, but she has light brown hair and a mesmerizing eye color—basically a very light brown without a limbal ring, but very unique—along with tanned skin. Over the last few years, my eyes have lightened to an acceptable level after some small, limited, and controlled sun exposure; now I can actually see my pupil in the middle of my eyes, which encourages me to get more sun.
However, I feel like my current coloring might already be the best possible for me, and I'm afraid that trying to tan won't accomplish anything and will just make my coloring look boring. So I'm stuck in this dilemma: which look is more striking, and which of the two options would actually bring out my eyes more? By the way, the sun here can literally burn my skin, so if I decide to go through with it, I'll have to be really cautious.
