hold up i gotchumaybe there are some good treads about skin care?
thank you for your reply, i really appreciate itYour skin doesn't look happyhere's what I'd do:
Cleansing, Sunscreen and a Retinoid is should be the foundation of your skincare routine, and based on how your skin looks, you probably don't need other actives and given a few weeks your skin will be clear from this. If you experience a lot of dryness from the retinoids you can optionally use a moisturizer or oil. You can also add a dedicated serum (like vitamin C) in the AM and exfoliate with an acid, both of these are optional and frankly I'd try out first the 3-step routine before considering these.
- Lock in your sleep
- Lock in your nutrition
- Lock in your hydration
- Cleansing: Water in the morning, gentle cleanser at night. If you wake up with oily skin you may want to use a dedicated cleanser, but water works just fine. Make sure your cleansing product is tailoring for YOUR skin, if you use a foaming/SA cleanser with dry skin you'll just become drier, if you use a hydrating cleanser with oily skin there's chances of you breaking out.
- Sunscreen: If you're not using sunscreen in the AM when going out jump off a bridge.
- Retinoid: Retinal, Adapalene, Tretinoin, Tazarotene, Accutane. Choose the strongest available, or ideally work up from a weaker one as your skin tolerates. You can start with 1x/week, then 2x/week, then 3x/week and finally every day use as you see best for your skin.
3 products it's all you need, incredibly cheap and effective, see if that works out for you before considering adding any new products.
