I can't get "ptosis surgery" (I'm still uneducated, correct me if I get terms wrong) because I'm simply not eligible. So I have 2 solutions that are easier to access.
1. Oxymetazoline eye drops (Upneeq)
Upneeq is prescription only, but Oxymetazoline in nasal spray form is OTC. It sounds reasonable for me to just apply the nasal spray form of Oxymetazoline to my eyes, but from what I've researched, the nasal spray contains many inactive ingredients that shouldn't be applied to the eye. With little accessibility and cost out of the picture for generic Upneeq, this is the most reasonable and effective method as I don't really "fraud" with this method.
2. Double sided eyelid tape
While this is effective, I have to take the time out of my morning to position and correctly apply this to my eyelid as opposed to Upneeq where I can just apply 1-2 drops of it on the affected eye. But this is seemingly my best bet for now because of its accessibility and low cost.
Any other tips or other factors for me to research double sided eyelid tape for ptosis/unequal upper eyelids specifically?
