I’ve had two fist molars extracted and have had braces on for over a year now my teeth are straight and my ortho says that they are just closing the gaps should I get the braces taken off and possibly get teeth implants so I don’t recess would that work as I’m not seeing any recession as of yet?

Should have got a pallet expander instead of extracting

Yes I absolutely hate orthos/dentists
Absolutely no idea what they are doing half the time and completely ruining someone's airways just to make a bag
I heard "airway focused" orthos are a w but never been to one
I would just get the implants and if you still need it, an expander because once your braces treatment is compete you would have to do them all over again if you wanted expander.
I assume because you had crowding, you have a narrow pallet but I could be wrong.
