Henry Cavill is someone who has lost lip suction but is not yet that much worse off for it. Still, his midface has begun to get loose and protrusive due to it.

What do you mean lost lip suction? That’s a subject I’ve never heard about here

It is not enough that your mouth is shut. You have to actively suction your lips and and cheeks against the teeth (this is nothing revolutionary, even John Mew tells so in one of his videos). The tongue/cheeks/lips create a vacuum in the mouth that pulls the jaws together and wraps the soft tissue around the jaws/teeth, turning your craniofacial bones and muscles into one solid block. This is what infants do instinctively and so firmly that if you block an infant's nose they may suffocate due to being unable to break the suction-vacuum and open their mouth. Unlearning lip seal results in slow unraveling of the mid-face, creating a down- and forward grown look. The face loses its youthful compactness. Lip seal effectively keeps the mid-face together.

See the following superimposition, of these twins one was a mouthbreather and the other a lip-sealer. Notice how the mid-face of the mouthbreather is bulging unsightly in comparison to the lip-sealer.:
