Explore new experiences? I don't believe I've ever experienced anything in my entire life and been surprised by how I felt about it. I don't think anybody else is any different in that regard. When people say they're "curious" about trying something what they really mean is they're already certain they'll like it to whatever degree but don't want to say that for whatever, reasoning or instinct they might have.
