For the IQCels who call Hexum a retard for shooting himself as if he was fully aware the gun was even loaded:
I've said this before, but by law and regulation prop guns are always meant to be locked away and EMPTIED between filming breaks, for whatever reason Hexum not only had one near him but it was also fully loaded contradictory to how it should've been EMPTIED to follow studio regulations (for what reason??), so how is that his fault?
You might've also noticed there are also at MINIMUM 7-8 different witness accounts of what he "said" before shooting himself, as well as different accounts of witnesses, i.e. many sources state state there were either witnesses present, or none at all at the time of his shooting. Why should there be so many discrepancies and inconsistencies in what's reported as a simple game of Russian Roulette gone wrong? When it also wasn't even Russian Roulette?
Some examples of what I mean:
"Witnesses said" "Was working alone" - There are plenty of inconsistencies if you look hard enough at other reports, what's the reason?
Hexum was also fully trained and informed on the dangers of blanks because his show Cover Up (which he died on the set of) literally involved handling dangerous firearms every episode. He was also intelligent, graduating University in both Biomedical Science and Philosophy.
Why was it even reported as Russian Roulette if the story goes he shot himself in the head as a joke filming delays were going on for too long? Those are 2 very different scenarios.
Again, you don't win $2 million dollars from an out of court settlement if it was your own fault for killing yourself or playing "Russian Roulette" as a joke.
"Jennifer (His co-star at Cover Up) (and EG Daily, his partner at the time) both claimed in the E Mysteries and Scandals episode that when they saw him after the accident, he looked "perfect," like he would get up out of bed at any moment. Gunnar Hexum had his brother put on lockdown and not many people got in. Gunnar hated the industry, he told me that himself. Some friends couldn't even get in to see him, one claimed he went after hours and charmed a nurse to get into the room to see his friend. But back to him looking perfect, he had a crainotomy, which is a very gruesome surgery. They cut a "window" of sorts into his skull to alleviate swelling, so you know he would've been swollen, bruised and bandaged, with his head shaven. That tells me they probably didn't get in to see him so they made it up. Both of those women are a piece of work. Can't stand either of them."
This is directly referenced from a conversation I had with a friend of mine who is also friends with Gunnar Hexum, Jon-Eriks brother. Aside from lying about Jon-Erik Hexums state at the hospital, his co-star, partner and studio also received plenty of compensation by the state to settle damages for his "wrongful death". Interpret that how you will.
