Intro
  • High carb low fat diets are optimal for Physique and maximizing nutrient partitioning and fat loss along with muscle growth
Protein- The myths and truths
  • M-TOR a kinase enzyme found in cells is the main driver for muscle building, recovery, and anabolic properties. It is your body's most important growth pathway, and it is crucial to maximize it
  • This is done by consuming one gram of protein per lean lb of body mass (ex. 200 lb male at 20% bf would need to consume around a minimum of 120g grams of protein)
  • In addition to protein M-TOR is maximized through insulin and IGF-1 (insulin like growth factor) which is why it is important to consume majority of carbs pre and post workout
Why high carb diets are optimal for body composition (and how to use them)
  • Nutrient partitioning is crucial for this to work as we are using the body's insulin production to are advantage
  • Nutrient partitioning is the conversion of glucagon from food into cellular responses (whether food will be stored for later energy or used in muscle cells)
  • Insulin is the primary hormone responsible for this given it is anabolic and allows for glucagon to enter muscles allowing growth
Why GLP's allow for this to be maximized
  • Glucagon like peptides are a hormone responsible for stimulating insulin release, this is responsible for better nutrient partitioning allowing for a stronger cleaner insulin spike and increasing insulin sensitivity (allowing it to be released more efficiently)
  • IGF-1 levels may be slightly suppressed naturally due to the lower food intake, but this insulin release allows us to maximize M-TOR for a more efficient use of the hormone
IGF-1 or Insulin like Growth Factor 1 (the response to growth hormone release in the pituitary gland)
  • IGF-1 is released in the liver as a response to growth hormone and is responsible for M-TOR, protein synthesis, and cell regeneration
  • IGF-1 is one of the most underrated factors in the health space and is extremely beneficial
  • To maximize IGF-1 you must upregulate the Human Growth Hormone production in your body or more productively use exogenous HGH
Somatotropin (Human Growth Hormone)
  • One of the body's most productive anabolic and restorative regulators
  • It is released in deep sleep and is reliant on caloric uptake and sleep quality for the most part
  • IGF-1 and HGH are directly correlated as IGF-1 is produced as a direct response to HGH release in the pituitary gland
  • Exogenous HGH is most effective for body composition in use with a GLP because of the calorie deficit involved it allows for an upregulated production of IGF-1 even in a deficit
Insulin sensitivity with HGH
  • Due to HGH and Insulin being directly correlated Exogenous Growth hormone causes insulin sensitivity, More HGH= Less Insulin
  • Controlling this with a GLP is most effective because of the Insulin production it provides along with the nutrient partitioning allowing you to carb load to your advantage along with the elevated IGF-1 Levels
  • This is also why it is important to consume your calories around workout timing
Nutrient partitioning
  • Carb and protein timing with workouts are the most important factor
  • Consuming carbs pre workout (1/3 of days total carb consumption) and post workout (2/3 of days total carb consumption) allows for maximized M-TOR, fat loss, and gym performance
  • Using these Insulin Spikes allow for an anabolic response from the body
Cardio (the truth)
  • Multiple walking sessions post meals is most effective for nutrient partitioning and Insulin sensitivity
  • Ex. Meal 1 then 10-20 mins of walking, gym session, Meal 2 then 10-20 min of walking
  • This layout is the most effective way for lipolysis and great training sessions
  • (Fasted cardio is not as effective unless paired with growth hormone injection for an increase in lipolysis)
Summary
  • High carbs paired with Nutrient partitioning allows for an increased production of insulin overall increasing anabolic properties in body
  • Allows for maximization of M-TOR
  • Paired with proper pharmaceuticals HGH and a GLP is the most optimal way to maximize body composition, lipolysis, and muscle building
