Not really, It would take months to solidify. But also depends on the amount of air entering the egg too! If you made a small crack it won't do much!

I just left the yolks in a cup for a whole day it was half solid I think this method ferments way faster

normally they prep the eggs and add an starter to allow the good bacteria to make it "sterile" from stuff thats harmful for you
