I couldn't say about the job thing (since I never ended up getting a job in my field).

As far as foids go, I have low confidence because of my dismal track record with foids (including having to hear all throughout high school "you're a freaky creep no girl will ever want")

I had a high school classmate (I've posted about him before) who's fat, 4/10 on the looks scale, and about as strange as it gets while still being neurotypical

...Yet he had 2 girlfriends in high school, a long-term college girlfriend, and is now married to a hottie.

He has a decent job too.

As for why he's doing better than me: He has low inhibition.
