hypothetically let's say my maintenance calories are 2050. If I ate 2660 calories. and tommorow I eat nothing and we subtract 2000 from that.

We're left with 660 calories. is that 660 calories over my surplus? Or does it count as me eating 660 calories over those two days

I failed all my math classes since the 5th grade so :feelsuhh:

It'd be like you maintained today and tomorrow ate at a 1440 calorie deficit.
So basically. Eat 1440 calories tomorrow if you wanna keep maintaining. Dont eat nothing.

If you ate over your maintenance you are going to gain weight pretty much. It doesn't really make up for it by eating nothing the next day. That yo-yoing is very ineffective for weight loss. Either do maintain calorie days and low calorie days balanced, or do consistently low calorie days.

To be honest, I know that your post is literally the most basic math, but you worded it in such an incompetent way that it is truly a clustfuck to understand.

But after decoding your message using the same methods they did to decrypt Egyptian fucking hieroglyphs, I am here to tell you that if you eat nothing on the second day, then you can consider your calorie deficit over those two days combined to be 1340.

if you ate 2600 calories today and none tomorrow

2600/2=1300

which means it would be the same as eating 1300 both days

thus you are under 700 calories under maintenance each those 2 days which is 1400 total

brutal if I controlled myself it would have been 3000 calories in the span of both those days

Just multiply your TDEE by 2 (since 2 days). That makes 4,100 kcal for maintenance in two days. If you ate 2,600 kcal today and none tomorrow, you‘d have a deficit of 1,500 kcal. Don‘t know what‘s so difficult about this tbh + calorie counting isn‘t by all means necessary anyway

figured it out. Like I said I'm shit at math. 1500 calories gon to waste for 15 mins of dopamine
