seems good, assuming you're doing each of these 1 time per week. just remember to go to failure tho bro it's the biggest thing about training fr (went from 60kg to 90kg in 4 years with abs)

A lot of redundant shit in here. Upper lower rest repeat or full body 3-4x a week each with about 2 sets per muscle would be ideal to really capitalize on stimulus without impacting recovery. You could make progress with your friends plan but just not as quick

Do you have like photos or text I can put in my notes for the exact machines/workouts to do?
 
No but honestly just pick stable machines/movements that feel comfortable and hit a specific muscle you want to target, with little involvement from other muscles. An example would be doing a machine press instead of bench press
